Welcome to Season 1 Episode 4 of \u201c99 Food and Drink Prices.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This whole new series is designed to show you what the prices of food and drink items are in countries all around the world so that you can get a pretty good idea of what the cost of living in each country that I feature is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As much as possible, I will try to list the same or similar items from episode to episode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This episode is dedicated to Italy. The currency of Italy is the Euro, abbreviated EUR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of the pictures below were taken at a supermarket called Coop. I decided to use Coop as my source because it\u2019s one of the biggest and most popular supermarket chains in the country. You can, however, often find most of the items pictured here cheaper at other shops\/supermarkets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: ALL PRICES ARE IN (the equivalent of) USD<\/strong> for easy comparison to other episodes of \u201c99.\u201d The exchange rate I used was 0.91 EUR to 1 USD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
